Terms and Conditions

Aztech PC Services have Terms and Conditions both to PC Service and Website Design work.

These terms and conditions and all transactions relating to this website are governed by Scottish law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts. We do not accept amendments to these terms and conditions.

  • General
    • Aztech PC Services are not responsible for the content of any website that we link to outside the domain of www.aztechpc.co.uk.
    • All work quoted is an estimated price until final invoice.
    • Payment is due immediately on completion of any work undertaken.
    • Aztech PC Services reserve the right to alter any price to match the exact specifications of the completed service.
    • Refunds will not be provided unless goods are faulty.
  • PC Service, Repair & Upgrades
    • We cannot take responsibility for the contents of your computer's hard disk, or any other storage device, unless prior arrangements for backup have been made.
    • We warrant replacement parts we supply against failure for 90 days following their installation. If problems related to the repaired part(s) recur during the warranty period, the part(s) will be repaired or replaced at our expense.
    • Title to the goods shall only pass to the client upon payment in full of all sums owing or due to Aztech PC Services, whether under contract or otherwise. Until such payment the client shall store the goods in such a way as to show that they are the property of Aztech PC Services.
    • Aztech PC Services shall under no circumstances be liable for any loss, damage, expense or injury of any kind. Whether direct, consequential or otherwise, arising in connection with the execution of a contract or the use or failure of the goods supplied or any defect in them, or from any other cause whether or not due to the acts or omissions of Aztech PC Services, its staff, contractors, or its agents, in excess of the contract invoice value.
  • Website Design & Hosting
    • We require a 35% deposit on all websites to cover the cost of hosting and other setup costs.
    • Hosting fees are not refundable if you should decide to move to another provider within the hosting term paid for.
    • All HTML and XHTML pages created for you will be owned by you providing the pages are for your own use only. They must not be sold or given to a third party without written permission from Aztech PC Services.
    • All dynamic programming code including ASP, PHP and JavaScript is created and supplied on a 'use of the coding function' only basis and will entirely remain the property of Aztech PC Services.
    • If you decide to move to another hosting company, HTML pages may be moved away from us, but all dynamic coding ASP, PHP and JavaScript must remain on our server.
    • Further updating of any website will be quoted for after completion of site if required.
    • Aztech PC Services reserve the right to remove any website which has not been paid for in full.
    • We reserve the right to include a link to our site from the footer of each of the pages in your site and also link to your site with a screenshot from our Portfolio section on www.aztechpc.co.uk
    • Aztech PC Services shall not be liable in any way whatsoever for:

      • Any copyright infringement whether intentional or not.
      • Any misinformation which has been provided by the client for use on their website.
      • Our need to cancel hosting service contract periods should our hosting provider go out of business.
      • Any damage of any kind (direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or punitive) which results from the use of, access to or inability to use the information contained in any web site which it has designed.
      • Any errors or omissions in the contents of any website which it has designed.
      • Any damages to or viruses that may infect a site visitor’s computer equipment, software, data or other property which result from a site visitor’s access to, use of or browsing in any site designed by Aztech PC Services.
      • Any damages which result from the downloading of material, data, text, images, video or audio from any site designed by Aztech PC Services.
      • Any content in any site linked to a site designed by Aztech PC Services and any resulting damages from a site visitor’s access to any such linked site – site visitors link to any other such sites at their own risk.
    • All websites are hosted on a server/servers located in a remote data center. These servers aim to be available 99.9% of the time, however Aztech PC Services will not be held responsible for any "down time" of a site which is out with our control.
    • Each individual web site owner reserves the exclusive right to alter its site content in any way, at any time and for any reason without prior notification carrying no liability for any consequences of such changes.
    • Should Aztech PC Services work to any directive from a site owner to change the site content then such work is undertaken on the clear understanding that no liability whatsoever relating to such changes is assigned to Aztech PC Services.
